Steeped in history from 1,000 years of Native American inhabitants to Coronado and the Spanish Conquistadors to cowboys and the settling of the American West, Santa Fe is one of the West's great tourist meccas. It is well-known for its art, cuisine, and great weather nearly year round.

The Inn of the Five Graces was originally known as Seret's 1001 Nights. Ira Seret, an internationally-known importer of Oriental rugs and antiques, and his wife Sylvia, a designer, opened their 22-suite inn in an historic neighborhood of Santa Fe in 1996. The property was a showcase for the Seret's decorating talents and they created a truly magical and fanciful atmosphere. The exteriors are traditional old Santa Fe with some intriguing architectural and landscape details, like carved columns from Tibet and a Jain altarpiece. The inn was featured in the May 2002 issue of
Architectural Digest.

The Garrett Hotel Group purchased the business taking over operations on November 1, 2002. They renamed it "The Inn of the Five Graces", relating back to the Five Graces of Tibetan culture celebrating the human senses all of which
we focus on in this hotel. The Garrett Hotel Group is expanding on the vision of the former owners and carefully
honing operations of The Inn of the Five Graces to bring it to the highest level. The quality and uniqueness of the property make it truly extraordinary.
